Dixie Chick!

So Carissa is getting ready to move on to Dixie State College this Fall! She is ready... but I can't say that I am. It is going to be a rough next few weeks for mom!!!
Carissa applied to be on the Student Counsel at Dixie next year and made it!!!! She is on the Social Committee. Sooo.... she needed a little Dixie attire so she could go and be a little social! I know she is going to LOVE it!!!

Happy Easter!

I'm thinking if you are 5'11" or taller you shouldn't get an Easter Basket!
Anyone for some chocolate?!

Hawaii!!

The first three days in Hawaii we spent on the North Shore at Turtle Bay. The swells were amazing!!!!! They were 20 to 30 foot swells. We had never seen anything like that. As you can imagine- they didn't want anyone in the water!
We spent a little time at the Hawaii temple. We were hoping to do some baptisms but the temple was closed for renovations. Hopefully, next time we will be able to go inside.

Here are a few pictures at the PCC. We spent 2 days there so we had a lot of pictures! It was a lot of fun- something everyone should do at least once!

Pineapple Floats after the train tour through the Dole Pineapple Plantation. If you haven't had one... let's just say you need too!
This is the Paradise Cove Luau. It was a lot of fun in different ways then the PCC Luau. There was more crafting projects. The kids made their headbands and bracelets. They are real flowers - They are so pretty they don't look real. There was classes on dancing and net fishing and of course, there was the traditional luau show and food. I love the bird picture, it is so fun!

We did a little whale watching tour. It was a lot of fun, we saw a mommy and baby jumping from the water and having all sorts of fun. Our photographer (aka, photographer Dale) didn't do a great job of getting them jumping out of the water..... SEVERAL times. Who am I to complain, he did a better job then I did, I was in the bathroom being sea sick!

We had a lot of chill time and enjoyed every minute of it!
This is at our hotel at Ko Olina.

I know they are big kid toes- (it would have looked better with little toes.) But I still love it!

Who doesn't love Hawaiian Ice!?

Our last night, you can tell by the sunburns. I think these pictures should be titled "sunburns at sunset!"

We had such a great time- we all can't wait to go back!!!! Summer 2010... what do you think Dale????

Could They be more Different?!

So for our cousin project on Martin Luther King Jr. day we decided to make wedding cans. Basically, it is a cute can with some different ideas on dresses, cakes, flowers, etc that the girls like for their future weddings. ( No we are not announcing anything!) Look at the colors of the cans- these could be potentional wedding colors. I think it was so funny just to see the difference in what they are wearing! It will be a fun memory for them! I CAN wait to see how the real thing turns out!
